This conference will focus on the benefits of Community Gardening and the Therapeutic benefits of it for all people. Melissa Stewart is an experienced workshop leader and noted expert on developing community gardens. CEUS will be available for Social Workers, Nurses, Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, Activity Directors and others. This conference is cooperatively sponsored by West Virginia State University Land Grant and Extension Service, Health and Human Performance and Leisure Studies and West Virginia Therapeutic Recreation Association. The City of Dunbar has invited us to come to their center and their new Mayor will welcome participants – they are excited about our holding this conference at their facility.
