Dan Ancone Bio

Dan Ancone first graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.A. degree in Therapeutic Recreation and later earned a M.A. degree in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in therapeutics from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
He was employed as the Activity Therapy Coordinator for William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute, the teaching and training facility for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health from 1985 until 2001. He is currently a Training Coordinator and Consultant for the Department of Mental Health. He is a CTRS whose professional activities include:

Chair of the South Carolina TR Branch in 1989

He has conducted over 300 presentations on team building, quality improvement, and anger management, communication, conflict resolution, assessment and group therapy at local, state, regional and national conferences.
